Wyatt’s eyes narrowed. “I think we need to talk, Steven. Have the warriors wait for me in the council hall.”

Harper felt Wyatt’s gaze grow heavy, his brows furrowing slightly. She didn’t know why, but her heart suddenly sped up, a tightness in her chest.

“What’s wrong? Did the Alpha King find us?” Harper asked anxiously.

Wyatt shook his head, held her hand, and said, “No, he didn't. Don’t worry.”

His palm was warm and strong, and Harper’s heart slowly calmed down.

“Come on, let’s go see Steven,” Wyatt pinched Harper’s palm. “He’ll tell us in detail what they’ve found.”

“Can I go there?” Harper asked hesitantly.

Weren’t these organizations very secretive about their information? Would it be okay for her, an outsider, to attend their meeting
