Chapter 11: Good Morning Kiss
~Alana~
It was a good ten minutes that Alana rested her face against Alric’s broad chest and it was heavenly. In his arms, she felt at home, protected, and… uniquely, loved.
Alana swore she must be going out of her mind. She was this close to deciding how she was falling in love with Kai’s father. How her feelings developed at such a rate was completely bewildering.
After some time, Alric loosened his arms around her. With one arm remaining around her back, he cupped her chin and asked, “Feeling better now?”
She nodded and smiled sheepishly. As her eyes wandered to her bed, she frowned and asked, “Alric, did - did you sleep on my bed?”
