Telling The Story 1

After freeing Mathew, having him sit down on a chair and given a glass of water to restore the color that had drained from his face, Emily listens to the story of Mathew's past from one of the old men standing with her.

And it is a story she would not have imagined, leaving her weak in the knees at the end of it.

The interesting thing is that there are two versions of the story, one from the old men. Mathew also has his own version of the story.

Mathew's parents were born of the Alpha and Luna of a certain pack, the Crescent Wolf pack. It was one of the few packs that had decided to live in isolation from the other packs, living among humans and hiding in plain sight.
