CHAPTER NINETEEN

Mia’s POV

I ran with all my strength as soon as I saw that my parents had been killed. It was finished. What was I alive for? The pack was on fire, and I wished all this did not happen. Suddenly, I heard a hissing sound, and I sharply turned around. What was that? My heart pounded in my head as my eyes went in all directions. Then I noticed movement in the back of my eyes. I turned sharply, and I wasn’t surprised to find a snake. I moved slowly out of there without making a sound. I didn’t have anti-venom in my blood. Those were only for Alphas, and unfortunately, I wasn’t one, though I was born by two Alphas. My parents did a good job of hiding me, but I knew that one day I would need to be on my own. I guess that day was today. I didn’t want to think about my parents. I just wanted to survive.

As I tried to find an okay place to sit, I looked all around. My wolf is not really out because I am still transitioning. Now we were being attacked. I hope I do not find myself in a worst-cas
