CHAPTER TWENTY

Mia’s POV

I woke up suddenly, every thought in high definition. I squinted as the sun hit my retinas. I took in every ray of light, and without a doubt, I knew I had slept too long.

My clothes were wet, and sweat was all over my skin, like some skin care lotion. I ran my hands across my face.

“What a horrible dream," I thought. Then I rubbed my hands over my eyes. Maybe I wasn’t seeing well. I tried to steady myself. There was a guy in the room. No, scratch that. There were guys in the room. And they were all staring at me.

“Please let me go! Don’t hurt me!” I cried out as I shrunk back to the bed.

“Calm down, dear. No one is going to hurt you,” a cute-looking guy said as he tried to assure me, but that made it more creepy.Half of the time, people said they wouldn’t hurt anyone, but eventually they did.

"Okay, tell us who you are and get quick about it,” a voice growled. I turned. I knew that voice.
