CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Nora’s POV

“Stop being a wet blanket and have some fun!” Chanel half-screamed into my ears as we got into the club. I, Chanel, and some of her friends had come to the club to chill out. Today was Friday.

Renee, my other teacher, couldn’t make it tonight. Something about spending the weekend with her boyfriend.

I met them the first day I began to teach at Dylan’s school. They were full of energy. It reminded me of the human friends I had.

We were welcomed by the dark lights of the club, the loud music, and the almost naked bodies that were littered all over the place. I took in a deep breath and smiled. I needed this.

The past week has been hellish for me, thanks to the new principal. I just don’t want to talk about Michael.
