Lucien’s POV

Damien stood watching me with his arms crossed as I paced back and forth. Funny how the one person I hated most in this world was the one who had pulled me off of our father. The father I had looked up to and trusted my whole life. The one who was even now blocking his mind from me. I felt as if he knew more than what he was telling us, I just couldn’t prove it.

“She can’t just have disappeared into thin air,” I shouted at no one in particular. “There has to be a way to track them.”

After we had found Samantha’s car on the side of the road and no sign of her my inner wolf had roared back into life. I began to realize that my anger at Samantha had been based on my past transgressions with my brother. I had treated her unfairly, I had been a bastard to her and she had run. She had run from me.
