My dad looked very lost, like he didn't believe what was going on. He would occasionally wipe the corners of his eyes with his handkerchief subtly but I caught on each time.

Galia had her head on his shoulder with huge glasses that covered half of her face and I could only imagine how devasted she would look behind them.

Jason had a neutral expression but I knew better than anyone else that he was trying really hard to keep it all together.

He hated showing vulnerability and I don't think I'd ever seen him cry in our five years relationship but I knew how much all of this was killing him inside. We literally had our whole lives planned out only for it to be cut short this way.
