Chapter 55

Ares' pov

She laid peacefully on my bed, wrapped underneath the sheets with her hair sprawled out around her.

My grip on the knob tightened as I took in the sight in front of me.

Closing the door quietly so as not to wake her up, I walked towards her without making a sound.

Indeed, she was sleeping with her lips parted lightly.

I held my breath as she moved, probably to find a more comfortable spot and after a while, she sank deeper into the mattress.

A lot of questions floated through my mind but I just stood there and watched the sleeping beauty in my bed.

After a while, I walked into the bathroom to take my bath, thankful that it was soundproof so I wouldn't wake her and I let my fist do the job no woman seemed to be able to do.

The thought of her laying on my bed just a few feet away from me sent me over the edge and in no time, my palm was filled with my release.

Resting my head on the wall, I focused on regulating my breathing before rinsing my hand and body.
