Alana's POV.

I was going crazy, and that's why I've decided to call Aliya to come and meet me inside my room.

Perhaps she would be able to help me clear the thoughts in my mind. Even my wolf was in a dilemma that kept us from knowing exactly what next step we had to take.

"Miss Alana." I heard a knock on the door labeled Aliya calling out to me, and my body went active.

Hurried, I went to the door to unlock it and drew her inside. When she entered, she gasped when she saw my face.

It was so disorientating to see Aliya blink up and clutch her chest while her feet took her backwards away from me, as though I were some petrifying monster in a child's nightmare.

I held out my hands as I said. "Please careful. Do not trip."

Her other useful hand came to cover her mouth when she gasped and shook her head at what she was seeing.

Yes, I couldn't blame her, and every time it hurt my heart. That was also why, for the past week, I hadn't left my room.
