Chapter 78

MOSES'S POV

I woke up with my eyes blurred and my head spinning, my head pounded, sharp and heavy and I felt pains all over my body, especially my stomach. I tried to set up on the bed but my entire body was weak, and then, I remembered I was poisoned.

I tried to sense my wolf, but he was only whimpering in pain, trying to recover from the poison, just like me.

I managed to look around my silent environment despite the heavy pains in my body. I noticed that I was in the pack's hospital, Louis was sitting by my bedside.

"You are awake." He said with a smile when he noticed my movements and stood up quickly.

"Where is that girl who had poisoned me? I hope you did not let her escape?" I asked, ignoring his excitement on seeing that I was awake.

He should not expect me to die just like that, did he?
