101-Like The Lantana.

Alpha Rex was at the breakfast table the next day, which was weird and unexpected since I haven’t seen much of him until yesterday when he lashed out at me. I was the last one to join them at the table and before I walked over to them, I tried to study Alpha Rex’s figure to be sure he wasn’t as mad as he was yesterday.

Since he was seated at the far end of the table, I could only see the side of his face and that wasn’t enough for me to gauge what emotions he was feeling at that moment. Leticia sat by him on the left side of the dining table,of course, dressed like she was at a fancy restaurant and eating a full course meal.

Zena sat by the right and I joined her, slowly settling myself down beside her. I quietly muttered a good morning that earned me a gentle smile from Leticia.

The smile seemed to rub off on me the wrong way because no matter how gentle it seems, I felt mocked and betrayed. Zena seemed to be thinking the exact thing because she did a silent dramatic gag
