“Alicia, you have to calm down, it’s me, it’s Marcus,” he said demonstrating with his hands but to me none of that mattered. I knew that I wasn’t thinking straight but I couldn’t control the urge either.

It was so strong, that great desire to rip a flesh apart was greater than my sense of reasoning at this point. For a while, I couldn’t grasp anything he was saying, all I could see was the movement of his lips but they were all idle to me.

Staring at him, my nose picked up another strong scent close by. The urge became stronger and with a sharp grumble I ran after the scent. I knew that it was the scent of a human and even though this time it wasn’t Rina, the urge to kill didn’t fade.

I heard rumblings behind me but I didn’t flicker. I kept my paws moving until I arrived at a cliff and just some meters away I spotted two couples and their little girl seated on the grass outside a tent.
