My back was pummeled mercilessly by the torrent of scalding water as I stood in the shower. To keep from going back into the bedroom and torturing Kaili to within an inch of her life, I discovered that I had to employ every ounce of self-control that I possessed.

After waking up, it didn't take long for it to dawn on me that what we'd done the night before, and what we were very certainly going to do again in the future, might be interpreted as my taking advantage of her. I was quick to acknowledge this fact. Because of this, I'd made up my mind to ask her out on a date.

Even though I hadn't intended to do it while my fingers were pumping in and out of her, life has a strange way of making things work out the way they are supposed to.

I jerked myself out of my musings by shaking myself vigorously.
