Logan stood in shock at the request the elder had just put in front of him.

"And what if I don't adhere to your demands?" He asked.

"We and all members of the pack would leave you and choose a new Alpha from our ranks, an Alpha who would make the best decision on behalf of the pack and who is not blinded by his own sentiments," the elder replied.

"And who are you to bark such orders to me?" Logan snarled. He was ready to start a fight hoping to end this facade of a rebellion.

"I don't think that is the right thing to do," Simon said while putting himself between Logan and the elder.

"You are playing right into their trap; this is a plot, don't fall for it, "Simon whispered as he tried to calm Logan down from making rash decisions he would regret later.
