Logan’s POV...

The dinner was over, and Alexa and I made our way to our chambers. I noticed the way some members of the pack looked at me, it seemed like they wanted to tell me something, but they couldn’t; the more I tried to understand what was going on, the more I was further away from the truth, I couldn’t bother myself about what the lesser members of the pack think, for goddess knows what, it could be something entirely irrelevant.

Alexa and I made it to our chambers, and I closed the doors.

“So, how was dinner? Did you enjoy the meal and wine?” I asked Alexa because she seemed to not be at ease for the longest time when we were in the hall.
