Alexa POV...

I felt pretty uncomfortable as some people here did not want me to sit with them, but Logan insisted, and I had no choice. Everyone was looking at me awkwardly as I sat close to the Alpha.

“I should not be here,” I said to myself inaudibly.

I looked around nervously, there were a lot of people here, and all eyes were on me and the Alpha, which made me uncomfortable.

“Welcome to the party,” Simon said to me. This calmed my nerves a bit, and I was beginning to settle down finally. I smiled at him graciously before looking away. The Alpha then filled my cup with wine before handing it to me.

“Here you go,” Alpha Logan said to me. I reluctantly collected the cup of wine with an awkward smile before placing the cup on the table.

“Is everything okay?” He asked me, as he could tell I was unsettled at that moment.

“No… not at all,” I said, trying not to make the moment more complicated than it already was.

“You know we can leave if you don’t feel comfortable here?” The Alpha as
