Alexa's POV...
Alvin, my baby, my joy, my pride, my world had just turned one month, and it was a big deal for me. Most times, Ginny made fun of how much I dotted on him, that I was smothering him with attention, and it was not the best thing to do.
But then, I could not quite understand her. How could I stay away from my baby when I had waited a full nine months just to meet him? But she was right; in just a matter of one month, I had lost so much weight that the elephant weight I was concerned about putting on was no longer an issue; I had lost all the extra weight.
