I followed Kairo, not even sparing a glance at Amelia. This incident just proves her disdain for me. I even gave her the benefit of the doubt at the party, but I guess those were her true colors. I thought that she was reasonably mean to me because I took her dress, but this has blown way out of proportion. 

I wanted to thank Kairo once again for defending me, but his strides were too long that I couldn't keep up. I’m sure that he could hear my footsteps, but it’s as if he doesn’t care.

“Kairo, wait,” I called out, but he still ignored me. I called out his name once again, louder this time, “Kai.”

He paused for a while but sped up his strides. Our gap was getting bigger and bigger, but I still followed him through and through. However, once he had entered the training center, I couldn’t follow him anymore. I respect his workspace, and I don’t want to disturb the other wolves in their training.
