Alpha Alexis POV

I was supposed to take Aurora out that evening but when I opened the door of her room, she was fast asleep and I knew how unfair it would be if I woke her up at that moment. When I returned in the next two hours, there was no sign of her in the room, and not even when I called out her name.

Fear hit me like a stray bullet and it was only when I opened the bathroom that I shook my head in both relief and exasperation when I saw that she had fallen asleep in the bathtub, fully covered in the bubbles the bath had created. She seemed so peaceful while sleeping, unlike her restless self, as of earlier, I noted as I moved closer to the tub.

Her lips were partly opened as usual and she looked cute.
