LORRAINE'S POV

Moving into our new home was both a relief and a challenge. The fire had taken everything from us, leaving only material losses and memories of what we once had.

Slowly, we settled into the house. Luckily, the boys loved the place. Things were hard for me mentally. I kept thinking about all that we had lost. I practically had to start all over again. "Yes, sweetheart. It's a new beginning for all of us. But that doesn't stop you from going to school."
