BECCA'S POV

I began to get more desperate by the moment. Rose had proven to be just as useless as Oscar. I needed to find the boy myself. He shouldn't have gone too far. He was probably being hidden in one of the houses here.

Where else to hide something if not in plain sight? I went from house to house, asking people if they had seen the boy with a mark in his neck. By now, I had gone to over seven houses yet nobody had seen him.

If he wasn't here, then where was he? Where could they have taken him? I needed answers and I needed them now more than ever.

I didn't want to give up on my search yet. I continued going to people's houses to look for him. With each passing moment, my frustration grew more and more. I was getting more annoyed and agitated by the second. I couldn't let everything I had worked so hard for be destroyed in an instant. I needed to find him and make things right again....fast. I had to do this before the witch realizes he's been found.
