As soon as Hunter took off to try to head George off, I felt a blast hit me square in the chest. I was thrown back and landed flat on my back. The hit knocked the air out of me but I quickly jumped up and seen a woman walking towards me. The scowl on her face made me realize this was personal for her.
I could hear fights breaking all around me and as much as I had wanted to stay near Hunter, that wasn’t really an option right now. We were probably more than fifty yards away at this point and while he was going head to head with George and a couple of other wolves, I had to deal with this witch.
I watched as she threw up her hands and just in the nick of time I was able to deflect the gust of wind she threw at me, using the wind as well, mixed with a bit of my energy. The look on her face was confusion, then replaced with glee.
