Chapter Hundred and Two: Never Getting Tired

We stopped for food as soon as we found a restaurant. It was already approaching noon. The taste of Transylvania's food was just as magical as the town’s appearance. I could feel my mouth water with each spoonful I took.

Devyn liked the food as much as I did—maybe even more than I did— because the moment he started eating, he devoured the whole thing faster than I could comprehend.

His eating habits never ceased to amaze me, and I knew it had to do something with his werewolf appetite.

A funny question slipped into my mind, and I blurted it out before I could think twice.

“When you shift into your wolf, can you eat live animals?”

His forehead furrowed at the unexpected question, “Sometimes I wonder what goes through your head.”

I smiled, “I’m just curious.”

“Yes. I can.”

Irritation surged through me as I tried to imagine it, “That’s gross. So you’re carnivorous.”

He arched a brow, “You were just devouring a turkey leg a few minutes ago. You and I, we’re not so different.”
