FREYA

I have been in the pack for a few days, and I’ve been blown away by how amazing everyone is. Everyone I have met has been sweet and welcoming, especially the women who work in the kitchen. They have been sweet and helpful when Jacob has not been around.

Right now, I am in the kitchen with Elise. Jacob was training with the warriors, so I decided to help her in their kitchen. I have never cooked like this before, and it’s fascinating to learn how much easier they do it.

The door opens, and a young woman comes in. She looks so much like Elise that I know they are family.

“Hey mom, she says and then notices me and bows.

“Luna, I’m sorry. I did not see it was you.” She apologizes.

“Ah, don’t bow, please.” I laugh.

“It is all still very new to me,” I tell her, and she smiles.
