Quinn Magenta's POV

“I'm sorry, Alpha Quinn but I don't think you can take this…” the doctor told me slowly as I arrived at the clinic to check on Lydia's wellbeing.

My heart sank. I had to tell myself almost a thousand times that was meant to be had to happen. I knew I had to calm down here if I didn't want something awful to happen to me. I had to watch my mental health.

“Just tell me! I will try my best to take whatever news you have for me. Have you forgotten how strong I am?” I asked him. I was speaking to the head doctor of the mansion, Lauren. He had stayed at the mansion for roughly about twenty-five years. He had seen a lot of my childhood.

“You're not so strong, Quinn…” Lauren replied. He was one of those few people who could call me by my first name.

“Just tell me what you want to say about Lydia! I am running out of time and patience here…” I replied impatiently. I looked at him carefully now as I tried to incorporate his expression to what he had to tell me.
