Alex held his right arm with his left hand. He knew this was a bad decision. This was in fact, a horrible decision. He was too young, too inexperienced to lead the pack like his father did. But he couldn't wait any longer as his father refused to divulge information about his mate. He needed to do it. He would challenge his father.

He walked into his father's study. The man peered at him from over paperwork. "What can I do you for, Al?", His father asked.

Alex clenched and unclenched his jaw. He was going to regret this.

"I challenge you to a territory test", he gritted out. Alphonse's eyes widened and he abruptly stood up to smack his hand on the table.

"It's against the rules of this pack!", His father growled angrily, his eyes flashing silver. Alex's eyes also flashed silver. He was already in the situation neck deep, he might as well drown.

"Sundown, moon hollow woods", Alex nodded at his father and left the room.
