Chapter Eighteen

Then, with a playful smirk, he said, "Don't you think I should come in?" His words were lighthearted.

I playfully gave him a gentle smack on the arm and said, "You better head to your room."

"But my mom insisted that we should share a room," he explained his tone with a hint of amusement.

I glanced at him, with curiosity. "I hope I left a good impression on your parents," I said, with a touch of nervousness.

He smiled reassuringly. "You did impress them. My dad likes you a lot," he replied.

His question turned his attention. "How was it working with your dad?" he asked, his interest evident in his eyes.

I leaned back, a thoughtful expression crossing my face. "It was an incredible experience, honestly. I learned so much just by observing him and the way he handles things." I explained, with the admiration I held for my father's business prowess.

With sincerity in my voice, I expressed, "Thank you so much for today."
