Chapter 18.2

Umalis ako mula sa pagkakasandal sa dibdib niya at tiningnan siya sa mga mata, tiningnan niya rin ako pabalik.

Nakita ko ang paglamlam ng mga mata niya at ang pagdaan ng sakit roon. 

"Ano ba ang nalaman mo?" Tanong ko. Inayos niya naman ang buhok ko. 

"Sometimes, for us to be able to forget the things we don't want to be remembered. We must forget an important part of our life no matter how hard it is," sagot niya. 

"Ha?" Nagtataka kong tanong. 

"The last time I celebrated my birthday, was also the day I knew the truth about myself. I felt so guilty, that for me to forget the guilt, I stopped celebrating it. And perhaps it did."
