Nathan

I sat uninterested in the conversations and delegations by the board members, only nodding once in a while to make it seem like I am listening.

The large table contained twelve board members, my secretary who was sitting beside me typing, on her computer rapidly, and my PA standing beside her.

My mind drifted back to Olivia who I had reluctantly left in the restaurant with Leah a few hours ago, I had forgotten about this meeting until George called to remind me that I was late which is unlike me, and now I am not paying attention which is also unlike me.

"He is our major shareholder" I heard someone say but I am not listening, My hand is tracing circles on the table.

"Sir," George whispered to me and I snapped my head up to see all the board members looking at me expectantly, they are probably deliberating on something. I cleared my throat sitting up.

"What is it?" I said and mentally face-palmed myself, I just made it obvious that I wasn't listening.
