Steph was glad that she had attended the orphanage the day before and she had a really great time. The orphanage made her think of Isabelle and how she would have been now. She thought about how she would have been if she was alive.

Steph sat by the dinning table while she put butter on her the toast she made. Her mum sat opposite her on the dinning table, also putting her spread on her food.

“How was your outing yesterday?” Her mum asked.

Steph looked up from what she was doing.

“It was nice,” she said with a smile.

“I saw so many kids, they were all so cute,” she added.

“I am glad you had a great time,” her mum said.

“She would have been 11 months today,” Steph said and her mum immediately knew who she was talking about.

They never talked about Isabella at home, regardless of how the conversation was going but her mum noticed something, she didn’t say it with so much sadness in her eyes.
