“The news about the Golden Moon nightclub is disheartening, to say the least. I know this may sound selfish and inappropriate, but I am glad we left that club unhurt.” Tracy said and handed Louisa the television remote.

“I dare say we have the drama that unfolded to be thankful for. Had that silly girl not kissed Charles to wrench my heart, I’m sure we would have stayed behind a little longer. And who knows what would have happened?” She added.

And sat next to the right-hand side of Mrs Briggs as Louisa pointed the remote to the television trying to find the channel that reported the news.

“You know what I’ve learnt from this?” she queried. “What?” Mrs Briggs asked.

“To stay true to myself and continue to be me. Clubbing is not my thing. It has never been and it will never be. I am never going to the club ever again.” Tracy said with her arms folded after she noticed Louisa had found the channel that broke the news about the fire outbreak at the club.
