Chapter 21

The atmosphere at St Anthony Hospital was filled by the sounds of sirens blaring from all angles of the hospital. It was just half past midday and already over thirty patients had been brought in by the ambulance.

The smell of antiseptic could not be coiled within the four walls of the hospital.

While some visitors sat in the visitor’s area, Doctors and nurses who were on duty rushed down the hallway to attend to their patients. And a few other patients were wheeled across the hallway to their rooms.

Charles had nearly created a scene at the hospital. Upon his arrival with his friends, he had wanted to enter the hospital with his dogs and when he was refused entry, he got mad.

“Sir, you cannot go inside with the dogs. Please, you may have to leave them outside if you must enter the facility.” One of the security guards informed him.

It took the intervention of Chris and Albert to reason with him and calm his nerves.
