Chapter 45

There was somber calmness at the Woodpine public cemetery.

The gentle breeze in the atmosphere rustled the leaves of the surrounding trees thereby creating a soft echoing sound that reflected the emotions in the air.

Tracy's eyes were puffy red from so much crying. And while she stood by the weathered tombstones of her late parents, the tears still kept flowing down her face.

She reached for the locket of her necklace that contained photos of her late parents and screamed. But her voice disappeared into the distance.

"Mummy. Daddy. I know this visit is unusual because for the last couple of years, I have been coming here on my birthday with my new found family to bring you some flowers. But that won't be happening anymore," she said sobbing.

Over the years, she visited the graveside with Charles and Mr Parker to bring some flowers to her late parents.

"Your daughter needs you," she said in a weak voice as her hands began to shake.
