“We’re being followed,” Lucas answered, and he brought out his phone to call someone.

He had noticed the black car as soon as they left the construction site, but he had ignored it at first. However, in order to be safer than sorry, he informed his head of security about the situation right there and then, even though it was just a gut feeling.

However, after thirty minutes of traveling, he was convinced that they were being followed as the car didn't overtake them despite being so close to them and it took the turns they did.
