Chapter 33: Trouble with his fianceé

Daira looked at her phone with a dumbfounded look on her face as she was still trying to understand what had just happened.

She was in the middle of a photoshoot when she received Lucas’ call. Lucas hardly ever called her and so, she was excited to see his call.

The excitement however died down when she heard a voice in the background before the call got disconnected.

That was definitely a woman’s voice she had heard. A frown then appeared on her face as different thoughts started coming to her mind.

She was no fool not to know that Lucas wasn’t in love with her but she was hoping he would come around one day but in the meantime, she was expecting him to respect their relationship and not cheat on her.

“We’re done here,” Daira said to the photographer. He had been taking photos for over thirty minutes, he should have had more than enough shots of her and so, putting an end to it shouldn’t be a problem.
