Christina’s POV

This man standing before me looked so different from Scott in every aspect. From his looks, down to the warm smile on his face, and his calm and welcoming expression, he was the complete opposite of Scott. His soft brown eyes perused my face and before I could get the chance to introduce myself, he spoke up.

“You must be Christina Bells,” His smile slipped a bit, giving way to a skeptical expression as though he wasn’t sure that I was the one but I nodded with a smile.

“Yes, I am Christina Bells, and you must be Scott’s half-brother,”

“Oh, he’s told you about me?” there was an expression of surprise on his face, and I contemplated lying to cover up for him.

“I see, I never expected that from him, considering we’re not the best of friends, but what can I say, family wins in the end,” We both chuckled at this.

He was very warm with a good sense of humor. Some qualities that Scott lacked.
