Abigail was acting pretty weird.

I knew it was a bad decision to keep on seeing her when we worked so closely together, but I didn’t think it’d be much of an issue. She was looking for a regular fuck anyway and I thought she’d be cool about it.

But lately, she’d been mentioning my wife a lot. I didn’t know if that translated to being jealous, but I knew it was a bad thing.

She had nothing to be jealous about though. Christine might have been my wife but I spent more time with Abigail and gave her more of my attention. On the other hand, I barely saw the woman I was married to. The only thing we had in common was the house we lived in.

“I’m going out,” Christine announced as she walked passed the dining room. She had also been acting weird. At that point, I couldn’t tell if it was a female thing.

“Okay.”

I heard her heels come to a stop before they retreated and she poked her head into the room. “I won’t be back tonight.”

“Okay?” I looked up from my laptop.
