Chapter 24

Alexander grinned at her compliment. "Well, I have a good teacher," he said, referring to his mother.

Celine chuckled and shook her head. "I can't believe your mother made you do this."

"She's just looking out for you, Celine," Alexander said, leaning down to kiss her neck. "Besides, I don't mind doing it. I like taking care of you."

Celine's heart skipped a beat at his words. She had never met someone as caring and thoughtful as Alexander. As he continued to massage her, she felt herself slowly drifting off to sleep.

Eventually, Alexander finished the massage and helped Celine get dressed for bed. He then tucked her in and lay down beside her, wrapping his arms around her protectively. As they drifted off to sleep, Celine couldn't help but feel grateful for the man lying beside her.

The next morning, Alexander and Celine had packed their bags and were ready to return to Alexander's mansion. Mrs. Jameson and Lily had prepared a hearty breakfast for them, and they all sat down to eat t
