“No! Please let me go!”

“Shut the brat up already," yells the rogue leader.

“Victor they’re here for him, we need to get out of here now! We’re being slaughtered.”

“Throw him in the tank,” orders Victor

“Get off of me!”

I struggle against the disgusting rogue's claws. He drags me to the tank filled with water infused with wolfsbane. I wish I had by wolf, we would’ve kill these bastards already. I do my best to try and claw out his eyes with my dull finger nails but that just pisses him off more.

The metal lid to the tank bangs as it is opened. The smell off wolfsbane hits my nose and I it makes me want to vomit.

“Avery!”

I hear my dad’s voice through the mind link just as I am being tossed in the tank. The lid is slammed shut and locked. My whole body burns as the wolfsbane soaks into my skin. I bang against the lid as I try to stay afloat.

“Daddy!”

I begin to sink to the bottom, my lungs filling with the wolfsbane water, burning me from the inside out.
