27. Only Temporary

Elisa stared at Ansel as if she didn't understand what he was saying. "What do you mean we are staying with you?"

"I meant what I said. I am taking you with me. I have top of the line security system in my penthouse and a security guard to watch over it at night so he can't bother you there." Ansel said.

"I can't just leave..."

"Elisa, for fuck's sake, are you seriously going to argue with me about this? What if that asshole comes back when I leave? Are you going to risk your daughter's life just because you don't like me?" Ansel said irritably.
