Chapter 51. Reflection on his choice

Liam sits in his office, glancing around and reflecting on Alfred's words: "I saw her crying, and she looked so red."

His office phone rings, and he answers.

"Hello, boss, I have sent him away," Raymond tells him.

"Okay," Liam hangs up the phone, and just as he hears another knock on his door, he says, "Come in."

He checks the client's name on his computer and sees "Amelia Gabriel," one of their respectable customers.

"Good morning, ma." Liam stands up and shakes her hand.

"C.E.O. Liam, nice meeting you today," said the old lady.

"Thank you, ma." Liam motioned for her to sit.

"I spotted your new secretary. She's far more attractive and pleasant than your old secretary."

"Thank you, ma." Liam smiles while listening to the woman.

"I really intend on introducing her to my son, but that's our little secret between me and her."

"Okay, ma'am," Liam managed with a stiff smile, still reeling from Alfred's visit and announcement that he intended to take his secretary away.
