Chapter 45 - Moonlit shadow - one murder, many deaths
The lighthouse was about to become a place of brotherhood battle. Everything ceased to move - there was only Dean and his dark reflection - Dervel. The once unbreakable bond that tied them together was now severed by darkness that consumed Dervel's heart.
Dean's eyes held a glimmer of hope, a desperate plea for his brother to return to the light. "Dervel, please, we don't have to do this. I don't want to fight you."
Dervel's lips curled into a wicked grin, his voice laced with malice. "Oh, but we do, dear brother. You see, I've embraced my true nature, the darkness that runs in our blood. And I won't stop until I prove I'm the strongest."
With a growl, Dervel lunged at Dean, his claws slashing through the air. Dean dodged with agility, his heart heavy with sorrow for what his brother had become. He didn't want to hurt him, but he couldn't let Dervel continue down this path of destruction as well as for him and everybody
