Chapter 46 - A Dance in the Park
Felicity stood at the edge of the bustling park, her heart pounding like a herd of galloping horses. She had always been a bit reserved, preferring the comfort of her books and art to the noise of the outside world. But something about this place felt different that day, as if an unseen force was drawing her to it.
That's when she saw him - a boy with mesmerizing blue eyes and a smile that seemed to light up the whole park. His name was Alex, and from the moment their eyes met, Felicita felt an inexplicable connection, as if he was a missing particle of her soul.
“Have you ever tried climbing up a tree?” he asked out of the blue, looking at the highest tree in the area. “You don’t like big crowds, so up there we will be alone.”
Felicity followed his look but she wasn’t sure if he was serious. How could she climb such a high tree in the case she had never done it before?
