Chapter 61 - "the Echoes in my head"

Patrick and Jig eagerly awaited the day when they would unveil the enigmatic werewolf to Bianca. If they played it out well, in just four weeks Jig would become a father of the most powerful creature in the world.

“We just have to earn her trust. Once she feels comfortable with you, you can persuade her to have a baby together,” Patrick advised, cradling a thick album filled with photos at his side.

“...or”, Jig’s eyes gleamed with a mischievous glint, “I can use these drugs to quell her senses. We don’t need her mind, just her body.”

A shiver ran down Patrick's spine, an inexplicable disgust washing over him as he pictured Jig getting close to his daughter. Yet, this was the price he had to pay to achieve his goals.

“Just restrain your demons for now, and do it as discreetly as possible,” Patrick hid the uneasiness filling up his guts.

“As you wish, dad,” Jig mocked him. “Those ‘demons’, as you call them, might prove quite useful.”
