51. Reconnecting The Dots.

★ELAINE'S POV★

I had finished packing with the help of Amy, so I went to the dining table to have dinner, then sleep and prepare for the journey tomorrow.

In the dining, Amy was the one serving me herself. Since Tania died and she became my maid, I noticed she was extremely careful with everything she does. If I was about to go somewhere, she'd follow behind me, scrutinizing every direction for danger. If I was about to taste anything, she tasted it first.

I liked that she was looking after me. But still, no one can replace Tania in my heart.

The atmosphere surrounding the dining table was gloomy. Alpha Damon sat across the table while Beta Adrian took his position at my far right. I noticed no one was speaking and a part of me began to wonder if something happened earlier.
