Chapter 37: It's Your Birthday!

After I basked in the Moonlight for a while, I got myself together and held my head high. I felt as if the Goddess had placed a crown on my head, and I wasn't going to let it fall. I would get through this and make my situation work. Finally, I was ready to accept the part of myself I had long ignored.
Suddenly my body shivers as I feel my eyes shift, my skin riddled with goosebumps. I could feel the presence of my wolf, "I thought you heard me," I chuckled. I glance at my bracelet, admiring its soft glow. Who knew I was already a weapon in itself? That led me to wonder if Thane and Atticus knew that as well. You'd think they be more careful with getting me angry. However, I haven't displayed any magical powers as of yet.
