Chapter 38: A Familiar Feeling
"Wait, so this thing is supposed to give you magical properties?" Atticus asks as he examines the bracelet. I scoop a spoon full of the spaghetti sauce and taste it. I liked the fresh sauce instead of canned.
"Yeah, but I don't know how it works yet," I take another spoonful and give it to Atticus, "Taste, it's a recipe my mom and I worked on together."
He gladly tastes, "Mm," he licks his lips," That's amazing."
My heart swells with pride; anyone who tried this recipe always loved it. Spaghetti was a perfect dinner for a large group. I had Thane go to the store and buy a bunch of Spaghetti noodles and Garlic bread, but he hasn't come into the kitchen yet, but I assume he's just busy.
"Molly seems like she knows about it. I'll have to talk to her later on, maybe at dinner-" before I can finish my sentence, Atticus spins me around, " That doesn't sound like a good way to spend the rest of your night," he smiles slyly. I pick up on his hint.
