Chapter Fifty-three

After the last person had left Margo sighed and sat down. She was so tired. She didn’t remember being this tired her last pregnancies. She closed her eyes intending to rest them only for a moment. Before she knew it she was sound asleep. Darkness surrounded her senses. She frowned as she took in the familiar scene before her. It had been a while since she had this dream. Even though she knew what would happen, she still found her feet carrying her towards the house. It was the same house that she had grown up in. Everything was a muted bluish gray as she took in the familiar porch. The door that once promised warmth and protection from a cruel world now looked as if it was the keeper of her nightmares. Of course in a way it was. Her bare feet halted on the grass. It was cold and pricked her feet painfully. Her own will seemed to be overpowered by something greater than her own.
