Samantha POV

I walk around in my room. Just pacing back and forth. Kaleb told me this morning that he has to talk to me once he gets home.

I am done with my daily tasks so now I am just waiting. Janet has been a pain in my ass the whole day. She bought herself a bell. Now every time she wants something she rings it.

Since the mating ritual, I have been more paranoid.

I hear the door open, so I make my way to the kitchen to start dishing up. What I found truly shocked me. Janet was standing in the kitchen with an apron on. The table was already set. There was candlelight in the middle.

"My baby is home. I hope you liked the food that I cooked. I spent the whole afternoon in the hot kitchen." I crossed my arms over my chest and just stood there. I can't believe the gall of this woman. I don't think she has ever picked up a utensil in her life.
